Exchange news of RSE "Toshkent"

By the results of trading on the Republican Stock Exchange "Toshkent" for the past week from September 24 to September 28 of 2018, 113 purchase and sale transactions were concluded with securities of 19 joint-stock companies. As a result, 22,0 million pieces of securities were traded during the past week. The total turnover of the exchange amounted to 22.4 billion UZS. The value of the USI index for the week drew up to 1,060.51 (▲ 1.2) points.

Analysis of the indicators of the exchange on investment attractiveness shows that the greatest demand in the past period was used by securities of the banking industry - 96.9% and by the republican commodity and raw materials exchange - 2.4%.

The largest transaction on the stock market was concluded on September 26 in the main section, with 7,1 million shares of PJSCB Turkiston which valued 7.1 billion UZS. The cost of 1 share was 1000 UZS.

The leader in the number of transactions for the past period is JSC Kvarts with 154.4 thousand shares which participated in 38 transactions in the secondary market of the Stock Exchange. These shares were sold for 86.8 million UZS.

The average daily turnover of securities for the period from 24 to 28 September amounted to 4.5 billion UZS, while the size of the average transaction amounted to 197.8 million UZS. At the same time, the average price per share amounted to 1 016,9 UZS.

The highest price per share in the given period recorded at the end of the transaction with the shares of Andijon tajriba-sinov zavodi JSC. The securities of this company sold at a price of 10,000 UZS per share. The nominal value of each share was 1,000 UZS.

By the volume of trading for the past week, the leader is the PJSCB “Turkiston” (company’s share in the weekly turnover of the stock exchange drew up to 66.1%), PJSCB "Ravnaq-bank" (company’s share in the weekly turnover amounted to 28.5%), JSC "O'zRTXB" (company’s share in the weekly turnover reached 2.4%) and the PJSCB " Universal bank (company’s share in the weekly turnover was 2.2%). Their total volume amounted to 99.2% of the total turnover of the exchange for the week.

The greatest dynamics was observed in the number of individuals: in terms of the amount of exchange transactions - 97.2% of the total; by the number of transactions - 72.6%.

Considering the exchange turnover according to the regional affiliation of issuers, it should be noted that during the past week trading transactions were concluded with shares of enterprises of 6 regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The largest volume of transactions was recorded with the shares of enterprises of the city of Tashkent - 97.0% and the Fergana region - 2.7% of the total turnover.

Since the beginning of the year, 7,793 securities transactions worth a total of 329.8 billion UZS were concluded at the RSE “Toshkent”.  In the given period 7.3 billion securities of 113 issuers participated in the trades.
