George Paresishvili was appointed the Chairman of the Management Board (the CEO) of the Republican Stock Exchange “Toshkent” (the Exchange)

The resolution was unanimously adopted
at the general meeting of shareholders of the Exchange on January 31, 2023.
George Paresishvili joined the Exchange in September last year as the Acting Chief Executive Officer. He has been tasked to spearhead efforts to integrate local capital market with international markets, assist with conducting IPOs and SPOs of local companies, as well as build links with ICSDs such as Clearstream and
Euroclear and global custodians to facilitate access of foreign portfolio investors to Uzbekistan’s securities market.
