As part of the Request for Proposal (RFP) announced by the Republican Stock Exchange “Toshkent” for the modernization of its technological systems, engagement with potential participants has begun.
Today, the Exchange held its first videoconference with a UK-based company specializing in exchange technologies and trading systems.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the key RFP requirements, technical aspects of the project, and the next stages of cooperation. They also exchanged views on project-related matters and clarified a number of issues.
At present, the Exchange has sent invitations to 36 international technology companies to participate in the RFP. In addition, 3 foreign companies have independently approached the Exchange and expressed their interest in participating in the project.
Discussions with potential participants on technical matters and clarification of project-related issues are ongoing.
As a reminder, the project envisages the modernization of systems for securities trading, clearing and settlement, brokerage activities, as well as trade monitoring and market surveillance.
The deadline for submitting complete technical and commercial proposals under the RFP is October 10, 2026, at 5:00 PM Tashkent time.
