Initiatives to enhance understanding of capital market and financial literacy among the population were discussed

Representatives of the Tashkent Republican Stock Exchange met with the Center for Research on Privatization and State Asset Management Issues under the State Assets Management Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan.


During the meeting, initiatives aimed at increasing financial literacy among the population, particularly the widespread promotion of knowledge about the capital market, were discussed. The parties emphasized the need to strengthen institutional cooperation in order to carry out comprehensive work in this area.


The parties outlined common approaches for jointly organizing training courses, seminars, and workshops. At the conclusion of the meeting, they agreed to strengthen cooperation and prepare a bilateral Memorandum, as well as develop a plan of practical measures.
