The Republican Stock Exchange "Toshkent" has launched a three-month practical training program for students of the country’s leading higher education institutions, aimed at developing highly qualified professionals for the capital market.

This initiative is designed to build a strong talent pipeline for Uzbekistan’s capital market, attract talented young people to the industry, and provide them with an opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the practical aspects of stock market infrastructure.

Currently, higher education institutions offer a limited number of programs focused on developing practical skills in capital markets and stock market infrastructure. In this regard, the project serves as an important educational platform that bridges theoretical knowledge with real-world market experience.

The internship program brings together students selected through a competitive interview process conducted by the Republican Stock Exchange "Toshkent". Over the course of three months, participants will have the opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to the activities of key capital market participants and infrastructure institutions.

The 90-academic-hour program covers both theoretical and practical aspects of establishing and reorganizing joint-stock companies, securities issuance and registration procedures, listing requirements, exchange trading mechanisms, brokerage activities, market analysis, and the operations of investment intermediaries.

A distinctive feature of the program is that students acquire knowledge not only through classroom instruction but also through direct engagement with the key components of the capital market infrastructure. In particular, they will gain practical insight into the operations of the Republican Stock Exchange "Toshkent", investment intermediaries, and other professional market participants, while becoming familiar with real business processes.

This approach enables participants to observe how the capital market ecosystem functions in practice, gain a deeper understanding of industry processes, and develop the skills necessary to become competitive professionals in the future.

The Republican Stock Exchange "Toshkent" will continue its consistent efforts to strengthen human capital development in the capital market and expand cooperation with educational institutions.
